INTRODUCTION
Access to healthcare is a fundamental human right, yet millions of people in low-income countries (LICs) face significant barriers to obtaining even the most basic health services. This disparity in healthcare access not only results in poor health outcomes but also has far-reaching consequences for global economic stability and equity. Despite ongoing global efforts to address these disparities, many low-income nations still struggle with inadequate healthcare systems, insufficient funding, and a lack of trained professionals. This paper will explore the underlying causes of limited healthcare access in LICs, provide data on its global impact, and propose evidence-based solutions to mitigate the issue.
